Filehurst Associates is a privately owned family business. John Blundell established the company in 1980 having worked in transport & warehouse management since 1971. The company started trading goods (machinery & food) to East Africa and arranging transportation & warehousing.
More recently John Blundell imported toys for the American companies, Tinkerbell Ltd & The Strombecker Corporation. Filehurst Associates being the United Kingdom agent providing all warehouse facilities, packing & distribution for these companies.
Nicholas Blundell & Fiona Parton joined Filehurst Associates in 2000 when it expanded into archive storage. Since 2000 Filehurst has provided archive storage for Eurotunnel & a large number of local companies.
